Research - focus is predominantly, but not exclusively, on medium and small cap companies listed or trading on the UK equity capital markets.

Smaller company investing has thrown up a considerable challenge for investors over recent months. Following a sustained period in 2010 and the first of half of 2011, during which the bounce back from economic Armageddon resulted in significant outperformance relative to other indices, that outperformance has been reversed with investors' nerves tested by warnings of a potential double dip. Given these concerns, there has also been an understandable flight to safety resulting in diminishing technical support for more illiquid smaller cap stocks.
